Our Panjshir Rugs are skilfully handknotted in tiny villages north of Afghanistan?s capital, Kabul. In this region, the weavers are celebrated for creating some of the world?s finest rugs as they blend complex designs with soft and subdued palettes of colour. One of the ways they achieve such subtlety is through a unique vegetable wash once the rugs has come off loom; which dials down the saturation of colour? giving each piece an antique feel. As with all our Heritage Rugs, these are made from the finest hand spun wool and dyed from 100% natural and organic materials. Each masterpiece piece is one-off, unique and handpicked by our team as we travel the world sourcing beautiful rugs.
