    Bamboo Silk

    • Avoid scrubbing your rug when you are cleaning. Instead start with a damp towel and blot the area with the spill or stain.
    • If the stain is stubborn then use a soft hand brush and gently stroke in the direction of the pile while blotting every few strokes.
    • Try not to go in a circular motion
    • Use a hair dryer on cool setting to dry wet areas or use salt on the damp area then vacuum the following day

    Cocoon Silk

    • Never saturate or soak silk rug with water- this will damage the silk fibres, and potentially your floors
    • Use only cold water if necessary to avoid shrinkage
    • If spills occur blot immediately then spot clean with mild soap and cold water
    • Do not use oxygen cleaners on your silk fibres
    • For best results, periodic professional cleaning is recommended and encouraged to protect silk fibres

    Handspun Jute

    • Clean regularly to keep jute looking good long term
    • Vacuum regularly to keep dirt from getting trapped in fibres
    • DO NOT steam clean or wet, as natural fibres are highly absorbent and may cause shrinkage
    • Suction cleaning or dry extraction cleaning is recommended

    • Use only cold water when cleaning wool to avoid shrinkage
    • If spill occurs, blot immediately, then clean up with mild soap and cold water
    • Do not use oxygen cleaners on your wool rug
    • Use salt to soak up liquid spills (i.e red wine) and then vacuum

    • Shake rug out to remove surface dirt and dust
    • Avoid scrubbing your rug, instead spot clean spills by blotting with a wet sponge and mild detergent
    • Do not scrub or rub as this will only force the stain deeper into the rug
    • Do not steam clean
