Rather than being a sign of poor quality, this gradual change is part of the character of a handmade rug.To help preserve your rug’s colour, avoid prolonged direct sunlight where possible, rotate your rug regularly to encourage even exposure, and follow the recommended care instructions for its particular material and weave. If you notice significant or uneven colour change, particularly after a spill or cleaning, we recommend speaking with our team or a professional rug cleaner before attempting to treat it yourself.
